For all those user that are looking for REDMI 17 5G HyperOS 3 Stable ROM, you can now download it. Update news also lands first in the Xiaomi Community app, if you want to follow along.

REDMI 17 5G specs
The Redmi 17 5G’s big selling point is the battery: 7,900mAh in India, 7,500mAh on the global model, with a 45W charger in the box and 22.5W reverse charging. The rest is fairly ordinary. You get a 6.9-inch 120Hz LCD, a Snapdragon 4 Gen 5, and 6GB or 8GB of RAM with 128GB of storage. The main camera is 50MP, the selfie camera 8MP. It has IP64 protection, NFC, USB-C and, still, a headphone jack. It weighs 232g, which you’ll feel, and runs Android 16 with HyperOS 3. In India it’s Rs 23,999 for 6GB and Rs 26,999 for 8GB. If you saw 144Hz or 7,000mAh somewhere, that was pre-launch data and the final phone doesn’t match it.
Which ROM do you need?
Match the ROM to your phone’s region. German phones use EEA, Colombian phones use Global. This page only has Global and Taiwan, so if you need another region, look for its own package.
Global (OS3.0.311.0.WAVMIXM, 4.6 GB): Download
Taiwan (OS3.0.304.0.WAVTWXM, 4.3 GB): Download
Both come from the MIUI Official Team. The links carry a timestamp, so if one stops working, grab a fresh link from the official page.
Installing the REDMI 17 5G HyperOS 3 Stable ROM
You have two options. Local Update is done on the phone and is the easy one. Fastboot Update needs a PC, so use it only if you’re comfortable flashing.
Back up your data before you start, and keep the battery above 50%. Flashing another region’s ROM is the classic way to end up with a phone that won’t boot properly, so double-check the region first.
