Xiaomi has quietly added the Xiaomi Power Bank 20000 45W 45W Boost (Integrated Cable) to its global website, about two months after it first appeared in China. The battery is 20,000 mAh. A 67 W version made the same jump, and we covered that one separately.

Xiaomi Power Bank 20000 45W charging both ways
The built-in USB-C cable and the USB-C port each handle up to 45 W of input and output, so the power bank refills at the same speed it empties. In Xiaomi’s tests, a Xiaomi 17 Ultra reached 42% after 30 minutes. A Redmi Note 15 Pro+ reached 46%.
Ports
You get the integrated USB-C cable, a USB-C port and a USB-A port, enough for three devices at once. When more than one port is in use, they split the 45 W peak.

45W vs 67W
Despite the near-identical names, only the numbers differ:
| 45W Boost | 67W model | |
|---|---|---|
| Max output | 45 W | 67 W |
| Max input | 45 W | 65 W |
| Capacity | 20,000 mAh | 20,000 mAh |
| Ports | Integrated cable, USB-C, USB-A | Integrated cable, USB-C, USB-A |
Both have the same port layout. If a laptop is on your charging list, go for the 67 W.
Capacity, flights and safety
“20,000 mAh” is the cell rating. At 5 V the pack is rated 12,000 mAh, or 74 Wh, which is under the 100 Wh cap most airlines apply to carry-on bags. Keep it in your hand luggage, not your checked bag, and don’t use it in flight. Xiaomi gives the same advice, and some airlines are stricter, so check yours.
On safety, Xiaomi says the pack sat in a 135°C hot box for 60 minutes without catching fire or exploding.
Price and release date
Neither has been announced. The global listing points to an eventual launch in every market where Xiaomi officially sells, in two colours. Pricing will decide how it compares with the 67 W model. Full specs are on Xiaomi’s product page.
