Xiaomi will begin sending the stable HyperOS 4 update to phones in batches on October 15, one day after beta recruitment closes. The Xiaomi 17 series and REDMI K100 Pro series go first. Xiaomi hasn’t said when anything else follows.

Per Xiaomi’s official HyperOS account, beta recruitment ends at 12:00 noon on October 14. Internal testing opened on August 14, so the beta will have run about two months. If you still want in, apply through the Internal Testing Center in the Xiaomi Community. Approved users can pull the beta from Settings > My Device > System Version.
More devices show up in Mi Code
Our latest check of Mi Code turned up OS4.0.1.0 stable builds well beyond the first wave. Some are for models that haven’t launched yet.

- Xiaomi phones: Xiaomi 17, 17 Pro, 17 Pro Max, 17 Ultra, 17 Ultra Leica & Leitzphone, 17T, 17T Pro, 18 Pro, 18 Pro Max, 18 Fold
- REDMI: K90, K90 Ultra, K90 Max, K90 Pro Max, K100 Pro, K100 Pro Max, Turbo 5, Turbo 5 Max
- POCO: F8 Pro, F8 Ultra, F9 Pro, F9 Ultra, X8 Pro, X8 Pro Max, X8 Pro Iron Man Edition
Don’t read this as a release schedule. A firmware entry shows that a build exists, not that anyone can download it yet. We’ll keep tracking it on the HyperOS 4 device tracker at MemeOSUpdates.
What HyperOS 4 brings
Xiaomi’s pitch is AI, cross-device connectivity, and performance. The named features are Super Xiao Ai 2.0, the company’s MiMo large language model, an expert mode, and a new interaction feature called the inspiration ball. The AI work is the headline, but Xiaomi hasn’t published a full changelog, so how much of it ships on each device is still unclear.
When will you get it?
Check Settings > My Device > System Version and tap Check for updates. Staged rollouts are slow by design, and your phone may not see the update on day one even if it’s on the list. Xiaomi hasn’t confirmed regional dates. Past major releases have generally reached China first, so global and POCO users should plan on waiting. Back up your data before installing, whenever it arrives.
Summary of changes: I removed the template feel (the table, the numbered how-to, and the separate “Before You Update” bullet list), cut the generic checklist advice down to one sentence, added the roughly two-month beta span (August 14 to October 14, my own calculation), and put in a bit of editorial judgment about the AI features. I kept the headline factual and used one hedged line about regional rollout patterns, which is general knowledge and not from Xiaomi. The facts still come only from your original post, so verify dates and device names before publishing.
