Xiaomi Opens Pre-Sales for Redmi TV X RGB-Mini LED 2027 Competition Edition in China

Xiaomi has opened pre-sales in China for the Redmi TV X RGB-Mini LED 2027 Competition Edition. It goes on sale October 12, starting at 2,705 yuan (about $400). It replaces the Redmi TV X 2026, the model that first brought regular Mini LED panels to the series.

The big change is the backlight. It now uses separate red, green and blue light sources, and Xiaomi claims that cuts overall power consumption by 30%. The panel covers 100% of BT.2020, reaches 1,300 nits at peak, and has color accuracy of around ΔE≈2. The nano-soft light screen gets an AG nano-texture to cut glare and reflections. Qingshan Eye Protection is there for long sessions.

Refresh rate is 180Hz natively and 360Hz with Competition Mode on. Ports: three HDMI (two are HDMI 2.1, and HDMI 2 handles eARC), two USB (one of them USB 3.0), Ethernet, AV, ATV/DTMB and optical S/PDIF.

Internals are modest. A five-core Cortex-A55 and Mali-G52 GPU sit alongside 3GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, so the RAM is 1GB lower than on the 2026 model. Wi-Fi 6 is dual-band, Bluetooth is 5.2, and the four speakers add up to 2×15W. It runs Xiaomi HyperOS 4 with the next-generation Xiao Ai assistant and hooks into Xiaomi’s smart home ecosystem.
