A Xiaomi 5G phone, model number M786BC, has cleared China’s 3C certification with 100W wired charging. Tipster Digital Chat Station says it’s the standard Redmi K100. The listing shows only the charging rating and model number. Nothing on the chip, screen, or cameras, and Xiaomi hasn’t confirmed what the phone is.

If he’s right, the standard K100 will charge as fast as the K100 Pro and Pro Max. Xiaomi teased the Pro Max for an August 11 launch in China, where Redmi’s marketing chief said the family would also include a standard model and a gaming flagship.
What the leaks say about the Redmi K100
Digital Chat Station, working from an engineering prototype he saw in August, claims a flat 6.8 to 6.9-inch screen that may reach 185Hz, a battery close to 10,000mAh, a 1.5K panel, and the original Snapdragon 8 Elite. Less solid reports add a separate gaming display chip, stereo speakers, a big vibration motor, an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, and IP68.

Those numbers clash with an earlier report that described a smaller K100 with a 6.59-inch screen and a roughly 8,000mAh battery. One of the two is wrong.
Launch timing
Smart Pikachu, another tipster, says Redmi is tentatively aiming for late October, with Bose-tuned audio and a very large battery. Xiaomi usually rebrands the standard K phone as a POCO for global markets, but it hasn’t said it will this time.
