Xiaomi has launched the Mijia Bedside Lamp 3, seven years after the Bedside Lamp 2. The main change is the light source. It uses full-spectrum LEDs rated Ra90 for color rendering, with a solar spectral matching degree (GFC) above 0.98. That is Xiaomi’s way of saying the light looks closer to daylight than typical LED bulbs. It is a manufacturer claim, not an independent test.

Mijia Bedside Lamp 3 Price and availability
Crowdfunding opens October 28 on Xiaomi Youpin at 269 yuan, roughly $40 or €36. The lamp is China-only for now, and Xiaomi hasn’t said whether it will sell elsewhere.
Brightness and colors
The lamp goes from under 1 lumen up to 570. The Lamp 2 covered 2 to 400 lumens, so it is both dimmer at the bottom and about 40% brighter at the top. The low end suits a 3am bathroom trip, and 570 lumens is enough for reading.
Color support is unchanged at 16 million, but Xiaomi now leans on soft, low-saturation pastels. There are 11 dynamic effects, 7 static modes and presets such as sunset, clear sky and forest. An internal diffuser spreads light over 360 degrees.

Controls and smart home
You operate the lamp by touch or gesture on the top panel, through the Mi Home app, or with Xiao Ai voice commands. It supports HyperOS Connect, so it can be tied to other Xiaomi gear, including speakers and smart door locks. You can schedule a gradual wake-up light or automatic dimming at bedtime. Xiaomi reported over 943 million connected devices on its platform in early 2025.
Eye comfort
Reported certifications are TÜV SÜD, RG0 (no blue light hazard) under IEC and flicker-free under IEEE standards. If you are building a bedroom setup around Xiaomi products, the Mijia Smart Back Massager is the item usually mentioned alongside it.
