The Redmi A7 Pro is an entry-level phone from Xiaomi’s Redmi line. It has a 6.9-inch 120Hz IPS LCD at 720 x 1600 (about 254 ppi), a 12nm UNISOC T7250 chipset, 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM, and 64GB or 128GB of storage with a microSD slot. The body is 171.56 x 79.47 x 8.15mm and weighs 208g. It ships with Android 16-based HyperOS 3, which is uncommon at this price. The 5G version sold in India uses the T8300 chipset instead.
The 4G model has a 6,000mAh battery charged at 15W over USB-C. Xiaomi rates it for up to 2.37 days of regular use, 49 hours of calling, 77 hours of music or 35 hours of video, and says it holds up to 1,000 charge cycles. The Indian 5G model has a 6,300mAh battery with 15W wired charging and 7.5W wired reverse charging. Neither battery is removable. 15W is low for a battery this size.
In Indonesia the 4G model costs IDR 1,650,000 (4GB/64GB) and IDR 1,800,000 (4GB/128GB). The Indian 5G version is Rs 11,499 and Rs 12,499 for the same configurations. In Pakistan the 4G model is Rs. 33,999 and Rs. 36,999. It fits buyers who want a big screen, long battery life and current Android software for little money, and who are fine with a 720p panel and basic performance. In Xiaomi’s lineup it sits above the Redmi A5 and next to the Redmi 15A 5G. Rivals include the Oppo K14x 5G and the Samsung Galaxy M17e 5G. The closest direct comparison is the Samsung Galaxy M17 5G.
