What the leak says
Leaker Smart Pikachu posted on October 24 that Xiaomi is still developing the Xiaomi 18T and 18T Pro. Both are said to have medium-large screens, Dimensity chips and a 200MP Leica camera that is still in testing. The screen is “not too wide,” and the camera looks like the point of the series. Database listings show the 18T under the codename “sanjose” and the 18T Pro, each with Global, Chinese and Indian variants. None of it is confirmed.

Xiaomi 18T Chipset and battery leak
The exact Dimensity chip is unknown, and nothing has leaked on battery size or charging speed. The current lineup is the baseline. The 17T uses the Dimensity 8500-Ultra with a 6.59-inch OLED (2756 x 1268, 120Hz). The 17T Pro uses the Dimensity 9500 with a 6.83-inch OLED (2772 x 1280, 144Hz). Both pair LPDDR5X memory with UFS 4.1 storage.

Launch timing, price and competition
The model numbers 2701 and 2702 suggest January or February 2027, earlier than the usual autumn T-series timing. That is an inference from the numbers, not a date. There is no price or regional availability, and the leak centers on China. Within Xiaomi, the 17T and 17T Pro are the closest models. The Xiaomi 18 Pro launched in September 2026 with dual 200MP Leica cameras, so a 200MP sensor here would bring that camera hardware to a cheaper tier. Phones from OnePlus and Realme would be the likely rivals once pricing is known. The comparison to watch is the 18T Pro against the 17T Pro.

- 200MP Leica camera in testing
- Dimensity 9000-class chip likely on the Pro, as on the 17T Pro
- Launch possibly as early as Q1 2027
- No confirmed specs, price or release date
- Camera and chip details are still leaks from a single source
