Model numbers for the POCO X9 Pro and POCO X9 Pro Max have been tracked, and they line up with the Redmi Turbo 6 and Redmi Turbo 6 Max in China. Both pairs are expected to reach India, where Xiaomi will probably sell the same hardware under two names again.
Sofia: POCO X9 Pro and Redmi Turbo 6

The first phone is codenamed sofia (Q10). Its model numbers are 2703BPC40G, 2703BRT40I, 2703BPC40I and M407CF. The “PC” and “RT” letters seem to stand for POCO and Redmi. It should be the POCO X9 Pro globally and in India, and the Redmi Turbo 6 in China and India. Several regional versions look to be in the works, but nobody knows yet how they differ.
Denver: POCO X9 Pro Max and Redmi Turbo 6 Max

The second phone is codenamed denver (Q10U), with model numbers 27011RT78I, 27011PC78I and 27011PC78G. It is expected to be the POCO X9 Pro Max outside China and the Redmi Turbo 6 Max inside it. The Chinese model number for the Turbo 6 Max is still missing.
Markets listed in Mi Code

Mi Code lists Global, the EEA, Türkiye, India, Indonesia, Taiwan, Russia, Japan and China. These are expected markets only. Xiaomi hasn’t announced either phone.
Launch window
The model numbers hint at January to March 2027, going by how Xiaomi encodes year and month. Treat that as a guess. The Redmi Turbo 5 carried a 2511 prefix and launched in January 2026, so a “2703” phone could well arrive after March.
How the last generation played out
The Redmi Turbo 5 and Turbo 5 Max launched in China in January 2026. The POCO X8 Pro and X8 Pro Max were scheduled for India on March 17, and they are expected to be rebrands of that pair. The Redmi Turbo 5 followed in India on June 16, 2026, the first Turbo-series phone sold there.
The twins differ in small ways. The POCO X8 Pro has a 6,500mAh battery, against 7,540mAh on the Turbo 5. It is also still priced below the Turbo 5 after that phone’s price hike. If Xiaomi repeats the schedule, China gets the Redmi Turbo 6 first, the POCO X9 versions come later, and Indian buyers end up comparing two near-identical phones.
Specs, prices, dates and final names are all unconfirmed. For now it’s model numbers and codenames, and that’s it.
