Poco X8s has reached Poland and Singapore. It showed up on Xiaomi’s global site last week and was released in Vietnam, but Xiaomi hasn’t said where it goes next. This is the fifth Poco X8 phone, after the X8, X8 Power, X8 Pro and X8 Pro Max. The screen is a 6.35-inch 1.5K LTPO AMOLED that runs from 1 to 120 Hz and peaks at 3,500 nits. You can get it in black, blue or white, with 8 or 12 GB of RAM and 256 or 512 GB of storage. There’s no microSD slot.

Battery and performance
A Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 handles the processing. The battery is 6,330 mAh, and wired charging goes up to 100W. The phone is IP68-rated, has an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, NFC and Wi-Fi 6, and ships with Android 16 on HyperOS 3. On the back there’s a 50 MP main camera (Light Fusion 800), a 50 MP telephoto and an 8 MP ultra-wide. The selfie camera is 20 MP.
Poco X8s Price and rivals
Poland gets the 8 GB/256 GB model at PLN 1,599 (~$405) and the 12 GB/512 GB model at PLN 1,799 (~$455). Global early-bird pricing was $399 and $499. It’s aimed at people who want a smaller phone but still care about battery size. Poco’s own X8 Pro and X8 Pro Max are the other options in the range, and the Galaxy A56 and Pixel 9a compete at similar prices. Next to the base Poco X8, the X8s has the smaller screen (6.35 vs 6.83 inches) and the faster chip (Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 vs 6s Gen 4). The X8 has the bigger battery, at 8,340 mAh against 6,330 mAh.
