The K100 phones are out, which puts the Turbo series next in line. Redmi hasn’t announced anything, but a China launch before the end of the year is possible.
Redmi Turbo 6 Max display leak
Digital Chat Station says the Redmi Turbo 6 Max will have a flat 7-inch 2K screen running at roughly 185Hz. The tipster also claims bezels of about 1mm on every side, big rounded corners, BT.2020 color support, and a bright, low-power substrate. He called it a true flagship screen.

What LIPO packaging does
LIPO packaging pulls in the bottom bezel so all four edges match. You mostly see it on expensive flagships, which makes it a surprise for a Turbo phone. It likely raises production costs, so watch the price.
How it compares with the Turbo 5 Max
The Turbo 5 Max uses a 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED at 120Hz, with a Dimensity 9500s, a 9,000mAh battery and 100W wired charging. Going to 7 inches, 2K and 185Hz is a big jump on paper. It also asks more of the battery, and we don’t yet know how efficient the new panel is.

Other rumored specs
Earlier tips from the same source point to a battery above 10,000mAh and the same Dimensity 9500s. Other reports mention a metal frame, IP68 and IP69 ratings, an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor and a dual-camera rear layout. I couldn’t verify those last four details. Charging speed and camera sensors haven’t leaked.
Launch timing
Redmi hasn’t confirmed the phone or any of these specs. A January China launch would line up with the Turbo 5 Max, but that date is still a rumor. Treat the display numbers as an early tip until Redmi publishes a spec sheet.
