Xiaomi 17 specs
The Xiaomi 17 is one of the few small flagships left. The screen is 6.3 inches, the phone weighs 191g, and it still has the full Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 inside, with 12GB of RAM and 256GB or 512GB of storage and no microSD slot. The display is a 1-120Hz LTPO AMOLED that peaks at 3500 nits. All three rear cameras are 50MP Leica-tuned units (main, ultrawide, 2.6x telephoto), and the selfie camera went up to 50MP from 32MP. The battery is 6,330mAh with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging, which is a lot of power for a phone this size, though it’s smaller than the 7,000mAh in the China version. It’s IP68, 8.06mm thick, and has stereo speakers and an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner. Software is Android 16 with HyperOS 3, with 5 OS upgrades and 6 years of security patches. It launched globally on February 28, 2026, from €999.
Which ROM do you need?
Match the ROM to your phone’s region. German phones use EEA, Colombian phones use Global. This page only has Global and Taiwan, so if you need another region, look for its own package.

Installing the Xiaomi 17 HyperOS 3 Stable ROM
You have two options. Local Update is done on the phone and is the easy one. Fastboot Update needs a PC, so use it only if you’re comfortable flashing.
Back up your data before you start, and keep the battery above 50%. Flashing another region’s ROM is the classic way to end up with a phone that won’t boot properly, so double-check the region first.
