Xiaomi has launched the WPB1026S, a Xiaomi 10000mAh magnetic power bank with 45W wired output, on Xiaomi Youpin for 399 yuan (about $60). It sits alongside the WPB1025S, which has near-identical specs and came out in May.

The size is the main selling point. The aluminum body is 102 x 70.5 x 13.2mm and weighs 195g, and it comes in silver-white or dark gray matte. Xiaomi got there by using two 5,000mAh silicon-carbon cells (16% silicon, 840Wh/L). Against its previous 10,000mAh 33W magnetic model, the company claims 35% less volume, 43g less weight and a body 6.6mm thinner. Working backward, the old one was around 238g and 19.8mm thick, which is a lot to carry on the back of a phone.

The USB-C port delivers up to 45W and takes up to 30W in, so refilling the battery itself is quick. It speaks USB PD 3.0 with PPS, Quick Charge 3.0 and Apple 2.4A.

Wireless is where it gets uneven. The magnetic pad does 20W only on compatible phones, namely the Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 17 series. The iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone Air top out at 7.5W. If you carry an iPhone, the cable is the faster option. Using both outputs together caps the total at 15W.

There is also a battery information system. Connect the power bank to a computer over USB-C and you can read its temperature, voltage, manufacturing details and current state, plus a log of any abnormal events. Most power banks tell you nothing, so this is a nice extra.

For heat, Xiaomi uses an NTC temperature chip, a graphene layer and thermal silicone. The unit meets China’s GB 47372-2026 standard for portable batteries. At roughly 37Wh (10,000mAh at a nominal 3.7V), it is far below the 100Wh airline limit, so it can go in your carry-on. Keep it out of checked bags.
