What you get for the money
Xiaomi launched the X7 Pro in January 2025, and the screen is the first thing you notice. It’s a 6.67-inch AMOLED at 2712 x 1220 and 120Hz, with HDR10+ and Dolby Vision. It reaches 1600 nits in high brightness mode and 3200 nits at peak, which is plenty for sunlight. Gorilla Glass 7i covers it, and IP68 protection is rare at this price. The phone is 8.29 mm thick and weighs 195 g.
Inside is a MediaTek Dimensity 8400-Ultra (4nm) with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. It launched on Android 15 with HyperOS 2, and Xiaomi tuned it for long gaming sessions without heavy battery drain.
The main camera is a 50MP Sony IMX882 with OIS and 4K video at 60fps. Next to it sit an 8MP ultra-wide and a 20MP selfie camera. The 6,000 mAh battery charges at 90W, and Xiaomi quotes about 42 minutes for a full charge.
Connectivity covers 5G, Wi-Fi 6 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, USB-C and an in-display fingerprint reader.
Is it Poco X7 Pro worth it at €253?
Yes, if you don’t need the newest model Poco X8 Pro. For this money you get a fast chip, a bright screen, IP68, a big battery and 512GB. Few phones near €250 offer all of that.
