The REDMI Headphones Neo (model M2546E1) is Redmi’s first full-size headphone, and it sits at the entry level. The body folds, and the drivers are 40mm and titanium-coated. Bluetooth is 5.4, and the ANC is rated for up to 42dB. Official specs put the weight at 263g.
The battery is 600mAh. Xiaomi claims up to 72 hours of playback with ANC off, and I found no ANC-on figure or usable capacity. Ten minutes on the charger buys up to five hours, and a full charge takes under two hours. The USB-C port also carries audio. Wired playback reaches 20Hz–40kHz, and the Hi-Res certification applies only to that mode. Over Bluetooth the range stops at 20kHz.
It launched in China at 349 yuan, roughly $50. Japan charges about ¥7,980, the Philippines about $55, Pakistan Rs. 18,999, and Europe around €60. It suits someone who commutes or works at a desk and wants ANC and a battery that lasts days, and doesn’t care about refined tuning. Within Redmi it falls between the Redmi Buds 6 Active and the Redmi Buds 6 Pro. At similar prices it competes with the JBL Tune 770NC and the Edifier W820NB Plus. The Soundcore Q20i is the closest match: similar price, 40mm drivers, ANC, and a long battery claim.
