PROS

  1. 45 hours of total battery life, with 2 hours from a 10-minute charge
  2. Five drivers, LDAC and Harman tuning
  3. IP54 rating and a light 9.7 g body

CONS

  1. No wireless charging
  2. Fit can shift during sudden head turns

The Xiaomi OpenWear Stereo Pro is a mid-range open-ear earbud with an ear-hook body and a titanium memory wire, about 9.7 g per bud. Each side has an 18 x 13 mm dynamic driver, two balanced armatures and a piezoelectric ceramic tweeter. A separate 10 mm driver cancels leaked sound, which Xiaomi says is 60% better than on the original OpenWear Stereo. Bluetooth 5.4, LDAC and an IP54 rating are included. It is the global release of the Open Earphones Pro, which was China-only after its June 2025 launch until September 24, 2025.

Each bud has a 56 mAh battery, and the case has 700 mAh. Xiaomi rates one charge at 8.5 hours and 45 hours with the case, tested at 50% volume over AAC. With LDAC at full volume, one reviewer got about 4 hours, so the headline number depends on how you listen. Ten minutes in the case buys up to 2 hours. The case charges over USB-C only.

The EU launch price was €149.99, and the UK price is £139, about $179. It suits runners and commuters who want to hear traffic and would rather have battery life and sound quality than isolation. In Xiaomi’s lineup it sits above the original OpenWear Stereo, listed around $118 on Amazon, and overlaps with the Xiaomi Ear Clip, a cuff-style model from May 2026. Among rivals, the Nothing Ear (open) and the $299 Bose Ultra Open Earbuds are the ones reviewers compare it to. The closest match is the Shokz OpenFit 2+ at $179.95, which has the same price tier and ear-hook format.
