POCO X7 Series Arrives in Indonesia
JAKARTA – POCO launched the POCO X7 5G and X7 Pro 5G in Indonesia on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at an event at Kuningan City Mall. The pitch was aimed squarely at gamers: less lag, fewer dropped frames, a battery that lasts.
POCO X7 5G
The standard model uses MediaTek’s Dimensity 7300-Ultra, built on a 4nm process. POCO puts it about 20% ahead of last year’s chip.
The display is a 6.67-inch 1.5K AMOLED at 120Hz, reaching 1,200 nits and covered in Gorilla Glass Victus 2. Battery capacity is 5,110mAh with 45W charging, and POCO says that’s good for up to 15 hours of TikTok. The IP68 rating covers 30 minutes in still water at 1.5 meters.
The main camera is a 50MP Sony IMX882 with OIS. Next to it sit an 8MP ultra-wide and a 2MP macro, and the selfie camera is 20MP. You also get NFC, an in-display fingerprint reader, AI Face Unlock, and HyperOS.
POCO X7 Pro 5G
The Pro steps up to the Dimensity 8400-Ultra. POCO says it passes 1.7 million on AnTuTu, a first for the X series. WildBoost Optimization 3.0 adjusts the phone to keep frame rates, signal, audio, and graphics stable under load.
The 6,000mAh battery is the largest in the X series, and charging runs at 90W. POCO’s figure for a full charge is about 42 minutes. Touch sampling goes up to 2560Hz, and Wet Touch keeps the screen responding when your hands are damp.
Cameras are a 50MP main, an 8MP ultra-wide, and a 20MP front camera. Unlike the standard model, there is no macro lens. There are some AI editing tools, and the phone runs HyperOS 2.0 on Android 15.
