The Xiaomi Buds 6 are true wireless semi-in-ear earbuds from Xiaomi, sold in the upper mid-range. There are no silicone tips, and each bud weighs 4.4g. They run on Bluetooth 5.4 and support AAC, SBC, aptX Lossless and aptX Adaptive. The buds are rated IP54 and have adaptive ANC and dual-device connection. Inside is an 11mm triple-magnet driver with a 24K gold-plated diaphragm, tuned by Harman. The Buds 6 replace the Buds 5. They launched in China in late December 2025 and went global with the Xiaomi 17T series in May 2026.
The buds have 35mAh batteries, and the case has 475mAh. Xiaomi rates one charge at 6 hours with ANC off, or 3.5 hours with ANC on. With the case, that becomes 35 hours with ANC off and 20 hours with ANC on. The case weighs 43.4g. Three taps on it start a recording, even with the lid closed.
China pricing was 699 yuan (about US$99). Global prices are €119.99 in Europe and £99.99 in the UK, and Php6,099 in the Philippines. The Buds 6 make the most sense for Android users with a Snapdragon Sound phone who want aptX Lossless and can’t stand ear tips. In Xiaomi’s range they overlap with the Redmi Buds 6 Pro (about $99.99 in the US) and replace the Xiaomi Buds 5. The Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 and Google Pixel Buds 2a compete at similar prices. The closest comparison is the Apple AirPods 4, which list at €149.99 against €119.99 for the Buds 6.
