Poco X8 Pro Specs and Design
Poco launched the X8 Pro in March 2026. Inside is a MediaTek Dimensity 8500-Ultra, a 4nm chip that boosts up to 3.4GHz, with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage in this version. Everyday apps and social media run without trouble, and most games do too. Only the heaviest titles might need lower graphics settings.
The screen is a 6.59-inch AMOLED at 2756 x 1268, running at 120Hz with 3,500 nits of peak brightness and support for HDR10+ and Dolby Vision. On the back there is a 50MP Sony IMX882 with OIS and an 8MP ultra-wide. There is no telephoto. The selfie camera is 20MP, and video tops out at 4K. The body is glass and metal with an IP68 rating, and the phone supports 5G and ships with Android 16 on HyperOS 3.
Battery and Charging
The battery is a 6,500mAh silicon-carbon cell, charged by cable at up to 100W. Poco says a full charge takes about 48 minutes with the included charger. Reverse wired charging goes up to 27W, so it can top up earbuds or another phone. Wireless charging is missing. In normal use the battery lasts a full day.
Price and Who It’s For
At €267 this suits people who want a big battery, fast charging and a good screen, and who don’t mind a basic camera setup. Other Poco options are the X8 Pro Max and the F7. Rivals at a similar price include the Nothing Phone (3a) Pro and the Samsung Galaxy A56. The X8 Pro Max is the one to compare directly. It has a Dimensity 9500s and an 8,500 or 9,000mAh battery, but it launched at roughly $140 more.
