Xiaomi says the 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max are coming outside China, but there’s no date, no country list and no official price. All we have is leaks, one retailer listing and European energy labels, and they agree: smaller batteries, much higher prices. The Xiaomi 17 Pro never left China, so a global Pro model next year isn’t a safe bet either.

Xiaomi 18 Pro Global Specs: What Stays the Same
The chips carry over. The Pro uses the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 and the Pro Max the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6, both with HyperOS 4. Cameras are unchanged: dual 200MP Leica sensors. The rear AMOLED screen is 2.7 inches on the Pro and 2.9 inches on the Pro Max, and the front privacy screen mode stays as well.
Xiaomi 18 Pro Battery in Europe: What Gets Smaller
The European energy labels (EPREL) show smaller cells than in China:
| Model | China | Europe | Change |
|---|---|---|---|
| Xiaomi 18 Pro | 7,000mAh | 6,000mAh | about 14% less |
| Xiaomi 18 Pro Max | 8,500mAh | 7,050mAh | about 17% less |
Charging changes less. The Pro drops from 100W to 90W wired, the Pro Max stays at 100W, and both keep 50W wireless. Xiaomi hasn’t said why the batteries shrank. The listed numbers are rated capacities, so the advertised figure will probably come out slightly higher.
Xiaomi 18 Pro Price in Europe
Italian retailer Epto lists the Pro at €1,398.90 (256GB) and €1,591.90 (512GB), and the Pro Max at €1,783.90. An earlier leak had €1,449 and €1,849.
- Last year’s Xiaomi 17 started at €999, so the entry Pro costs 40 to 45 percent more.
- The 17 Ultra launched at €1,499, which puts the 18 Pro about €50 below it, with a smaller battery than the Chinese model.
- The leaked €1,849 for the 512GB Pro Max matches the iPhone 18 Pro Max’s reported European price at the same storage.
- China pricing starts at 5,999 yuan (about $845) for the Pro and 6,999 yuan (about $986) for the Pro Max. European buyers would pay roughly double.
Xiaomi 18 Pro Global Launch Date and Availability
No date has been announced. Europe, the Americas and the Middle East are the expected markets, and the US is unconfirmed. Hold off on ordering until reviews of the global version appear. The battery and charging differ from the Chinese phones that reviewers have tested so far, so those results won’t carry over.
