The Redmi Buds 8 Pro are true wireless earbuds from Xiaomi’s Redmi sub-brand and replace the Redmi Buds 6 Pro. They sit in the upper-budget to mid-range TWS tier. The model number is M2535E1, and the body is a stem-style semi-in-ear design. Each earbud has three drivers: an 11mm titanium dynamic driver and a 6.7mm ceramic driver, with a dual DAC. Codecs include LHDC, LC3, AAC, SBC and MIHC 2.0. Xiaomi quotes ANC of up to 55 dB. Connectivity is Bluetooth 5.4 with dual-device connection and Google Fast Pair, and the buds are rated IP54.
Xiaomi rates the buds at 8 hours per charge and 33 hours with the case. Five minutes on the charger gives 2 hours of playback. The case holds 480 mAh and charges over USB-C. The earbud cell size is unconfirmed: one source lists 54 mAh and another 30 mAh. In testing, battery life with ANC on was about 4.5 hours, well under the 8-hour rating.
In Europe the Buds 8 Pro cost €69.99. Elsewhere they list at $95.81 AUD in Australia, 5,399 EGP in Egypt and Rs. 14,999 in Nepal. They fit Android users who want strong ANC and LHDC support at a price well below AirPods or flagship Sony models. Inside the lineup, they sit above the Redmi Buds 8 and replace the Redmi Buds 6 Pro. Outside it, they compete with the OnePlus Nord Buds 3 Pro and the Realme Buds Air 7. The closest direct comparison is the CMF by Nothing Buds Pro 2, which targets the same price and the same ANC-first buyer.
