Xiaomi has launched the Mijia Electric Toothbrush 2 Pro in China. It has a color screen in the handle, a redesigned brush head and a new sonic vibration motor.
Mijia Electric Toothbrush 2 Pro Price and availability
The toothbrush costs 249 yuan (about $35), the same as the Mijia Sonic Vibration Electric Toothbrush Pro that launched in December 2024. Early crowdfunding backers pay 179 yuan (about $25). It’s China-only for now, and Xiaomi hasn’t mentioned a global release.

Color screen and brushing prompts
The display looks like the one on that earlier Pro, which was Mijia’s first toothbrush with a color screen. While you brush, it shows elapsed time and which areas you’ve covered. If you skip a spot or finish too fast, it tells you. Xiaomi’s product images include a “brush the lower right area again” message and a confirmation when coverage is excellent. The default session is four minutes.
Motor and brush head
The brush uses Xiaomi’s sonic vibration motor 2.0, which the company says removes plaque efficiently. It has several vibration patterns, and each one goes with a brushing mode. The head has a shock-absorbing structure with softer rubber, and it flexes to follow the shape of your mouth.
Pressure alerts
The biggest change from the older model is two-way pressure alerts. Indicator lights come on if you press too hard or too lightly. Press too hard and the brush drops its vibration frequency by itself.

Battery and water resistance
It charges over USB Type-C in about six hours. Xiaomi claims up to 190 days on one charge, which is a lab-style figure, so expect less with daily use. With an IPX8 rating, you can rinse it under the tap.
