Xiaomi has listed the Mijia Water Flosser 2 Portable on its global site. It has a foldable body, four cleaning modes, a wide-angle water jet and a nominal battery life of up to 100 days, based on Xiaomi’s own test conditions. It is built to sit on a bathroom shelf at home or go into a travel bag.

Wide-angle water jet
Most water flossers fire a single narrow stream. Xiaomi pairs a central jet with a wider ring of water around it. The center stream works on the gaps between teeth, and the outer flow covers the gum line.
Xiaomi says the coverage is up to seven times wider than the previous generation’s standard nozzle, and that the cleaning is 40% gentler. Both numbers come from Xiaomi, and I have not seen independent testing.

Four cleaning modes
Gentle is for people new to water flossers. Standard covers daily use, including after meals. Powerful pushes a stronger flow at stuck food. Massage is softer and meant for sensitive gums.
Pressure stabilization keeps the flow steady as the battery drains, so the last few days before a recharge should feel like the first.
Foldable design and 200 ml tank
The body folds to about 143 mm for storage and travel. The 200 ml tank is removable for cleaning, and Xiaomi says one fill covers a full session. The water inlet doubles as a slot for the spare nozzles, so they stay protected in a bag. The gravity ball inlet keeps water flowing when the tank is nearly empty and lets you tilt the device while using it.
Included nozzles
- Gentle multi-purpose tip: two-level water flow, for beginners or a softer feel.
- Standard tip: a fine, focused jet for between the teeth.
- Orthodontic tip: has bristles plus a central water flow, for cleaning around braces.
You can swap tips to suit each mode without buying anything extra.

Battery life and charging
The 100-day figure assumes one minute of use per day in Gentle mode. Use Powerful mode daily and you will charge it far more often. A full charge takes about four hours. The IPX7 rating means it can be rinsed under water, as long as you follow Xiaomi’s instructions.
How it differs from the Xiaomi Water Flosser 2
Do not mix this up with the Xiaomi Water Flosser 2 (MEO705). That one has three modes, two tips and a 90-day battery claim. It uses a 2,200 mAh battery with a charging time of about four hours. The Portable adds a Massage mode, a third nozzle and the wide-angle jet, and stretches the battery claim by ten days.
Is it the Mijia F400?
The specs line up with the Mijia Portable Water Flosser F400 from China. That model also has 4 modes, 1,700 pulses per minute, a 100-day battery claim and a 200 ml tank. It launched at 239 yuan, about $33. My guess is the Portable is its global version, but Xiaomi has not said so.
Price and availability
The device appears in Xiaomi’s global catalog. The page gives no retail price and does not say which countries will get it. Your local Xiaomi site or official store will have the real numbers.
