Mijia Refrigerator Side-by-Side 621L

The Mijia Refrigerator Side-by-Side 621L (model MRS62ESSMPAEU) is a mid-range, large-capacity fridge-freezer from Xiaomi. It is a freestanding, stainless steel, no-frost side-by-side, 910 x 715 x 1770 mm. The fridge is 385 L, the freezer 236 L, and the total is 621 L. Xiaomi presented it in May at its European launch event. It is the biggest fridge the brand sells in Spain.

The compressor is a dual inverter. The energy class is E at 342 kWh a year, roughly €100 in running costs at €0.30 per kWh. The freezer is rated for 14 kg per 24 hours, and four temperature sensors manage the airflow. A silver-ion module covers both compartments. The ice maker is internal, and there is no external dispenser. Control is through the Xiaomi Home app, Alexa or Google Assistant. Installation takes some planning. The unit weighs 84 kg, the doors open to 120°, Xiaomi asks for 10 cm of clearance around it, and it should stand for 3 hours before you plug it in.

The European launch price is €849. In Germany it has been on sale since mid-July, and Xiaomi’s store lists it at €800. Spain is €799.99. Greece is €879 with VAT, and an early-bird €749 ran until 13 September 2026. It fits a family of four or more that has a 910 mm gap for it. Inside the Mijia range, it sits near the Cross Door 502L (£799/€849 in the UK and Germany) and the 425L French-door model sold in Poland. Among rivals, the Hisense RS694N4TIE has 562 L in total, an E rating and a non-plumbed ice and water dispenser, and it starts from £749–849 in the UK. The LG GSXV90MCAE costs more, from about £1,557 in the UK. The closest match is the Samsung RS65DG54M3SLEU. It has 635 L (417 L fridge, 218 L freezer), an E rating and a plumbed ice and water dispenser, and costs £949.99 at Costco UK. It is almost the same width as the Mijia, at 91.2 cm against 91 cm.
