Mijia Front Load Washer Dryer 8kg

The Mijia Front Load Washer Dryer 8kg (WD080MJA08EU) is the entry model in Xiaomi’s European washer-dryer line, a freestanding front-loader that ranks below the Pro series. It washes 8kg and dries 6kg, spins at 1400rpm, and weighs 59kg. The body is 598 x 535 x 850mm, and the drum is 525mm. It reached the EU in May 2026. The Pro 9kg came earlier and was Xiaomi’s first smart laundry product officially sold in Europe, so this is the cheaper way into the same range.

Rated power is 1500–1800W for washing and 1300–1500W for drying, on 220–240V at 50Hz. Xiaomi puts wash-cycle consumption 30% below the EU Class A limit. Sensors and 3D airflow end the drying cycle once clothes are dry. There is also a 180-minute Wash & Care programme with 14.5m/s airflow, a 15-minute Quick Wash, over 30 programmes in total, and a steam mode rated at 99.99% bacteria removal. The touch panel covers local control, and the Xiaomi Home app adds remote monitoring and OTA updates. One limit to know: drying tops out at 6kg, so a full 8kg wash load needs two drying runs.

Pricing starts at €539 in the EU. Greece lists it at €579.01, after an early-bird €499 that ended on 13 September 2026. It fits a one-to-three-person household with limited space and no need for two machines. In Xiaomi’s lineup it falls between the wash-only Mijia Front Load Washer 8kg at €448.99 in Greece and the Pro 9kg at €579 in Europe. Outside the brand, the Hisense WD3S8043BW3 has been discounted to €399 on Amazon Germany and the Beko B1D85364WSPT (8kg wash, 5kg dry) to €399 at Carrefour Spain. The Hisense is the nearest match. It has Wi-Fi, 8kg of wash capacity, 5kg of dry capacity and a 1400rpm spin, so it costs less but dries 1kg less.
