REDMI is getting into clip-on earphones. Lu Weibing, Xiaomi Group Partner and President, said on October 16 that the REDMI Clip Neo will launch this month alongside the REDMI K100 phone. That’s the whole announcement. No date, no price, no spec sheet.
The teaser shows white earphones with a curved hook and a round charging case. China looks like the first market, but nobody has said anything about a global release.

Xiaomi’s clip-on is the obvious yardstick
Xiaomi’s own clip-on earphone went on sale in China on May 21 for 849 yuan (roughly $113 to $120), with a launch price of 799 yuan. Each earpiece weighs 5.5 g and has an 11mm driver, a memory titanium wire frame, a mirror-gloss finish and IP57 dust and water resistance. Those are Xiaomi’s specs, not the Clip Neo’s, so don’t assume they carry over. REDMI tends to undercut Xiaomi on price, so I’d expect the Clip Neo to cost less, but that’s a guess until REDMI says otherwise.

Where the K100 stands
The K100 series was first shown at ChinaJoy in July, and the Pro and Pro Max launched in August. One leaker says the standard K100 arrives near the end of October, which would make it the phone sharing the stage with the earphones.
The things to watch for are the launch date, the price, and whether the REDMI Clip Neo keeps the earlier model’s weight and water resistance.
