The Poco Pad C1 is an entry-level Wi-Fi tablet from Poco, Xiaomi’s performance sub-brand. The screen is a 9.7-inch IPS LCD at 2048 x 1280 with 120Hz and 600 nits peak brightness, set in a metal body that measures 226.5 x 148 x 7.4 mm and weighs 406 g. It runs a Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 2 with 4GB or 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB or 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. A microSD slot takes cards up to 2TB. Android 16 and HyperOS 3 come preinstalled. Nothing here is new: the C1 is the Redmi Pad 2 9.7 with a Poco badge, which Xiaomi quietly added to its global site in May 2026.
Battery capacity is 7,600 mAh, and charging tops out at 18W over USB-C. Poco claims up to 1.7 days of mixed use, over 15 hours of video, 18 hours of audio and over 16 hours of reading, though none of that is independently tested. The chipset has a modem, but the tablet has no cellular support. You get Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0 and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Malaysia was the first market with confirmed pricing, from RM549. In the Philippines, the 4GB/64GB model is listed at ₱8,999 and the 6GB/128GB at ₱10,999. European listings show about €165 for 6GB/128GB. Xiaomi had no global price when the tablet appeared.
This tablet is for first-time buyers, students and anyone who needs a cheap second screen for video, reading and online classes. It is a poor fit for heavy games or serious multitasking. Within Poco’s range it sits below the Pad M1 (12.1-inch, Snapdragon 7s Gen 4, 12,000 mAh, $329 list) and the Pad X1 (11.2-inch, Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3, 8,850 mAh, $399 list). The Lenovo Tab M11 and Motorola Moto Pad 60 Neo compete at the entry level. The closest direct comparison is the Redmi Pad 2 9.7, which has identical specs under a different name.
