Xiaomi Smart Band 7 Pro goes on sale in Finland next Monday. It has a bigger screen than the Smart Band 7, its own GPS and NFC for paying in stores.

The display is 1.64 inches, slightly larger than before and noticeably wider, at 456×280 pixels. A brightness sensor handles dimming, there’s an Always On mode, and the glass is 2.5D.
Battery life is rated at 12 days with typical use and six if you push it hard. The 235 mAh cell charges from empty in an hour. At 5ATM, the band is built to handle water down to 50 meters.
It tracks heart rate around the clock, along with blood oxygen, sleep and stress. There are 117 training modes and running courses.
Many fitness trackers borrow your phone’s GPS. This one doesn’t need to: it supports GPS, GLONASS, BDS, Galileo and QZSS on its own. NFC covers payments in shops.
The band costs 129 euros and comes in black or white, with spare straps due later. Telecom operators sell it, as do Euronics, Power, Veikon Kone and Verkkokauppa.com.
